Quizlet is a free online learning platform, it was founded in October 2005 by Andrew Sutherland. It is "a multi-national American company which creates and designs tools used for studying and learning". It is completely free, but they do offer a paid plan called Quizlet plus. 

Quizlet has 50 million users and is valued at an estimated $1 billion.
